We were able to get out on the river for a short prop check on Friday May 31st. After running her up to just about 2000 RPM’s Michael determined that, although not perfect, we are good to run above the 1000 RPM’s if needed. That is somewhat of a relief but further investigation will need to be done at a later date. Hopefully much later.
Since the weather was good on Monday June 3rd we took a cruise up into Nashville downtown via the river. The boat ran well and it was a very peaceful almost 5 hour journey.
Below are a few pictures along the Cumberland River on the way to and back from Nashville that I thought were interesting depictions of the journey.
The “guy” with our new toilet is due here any time now and hopefully that goes well. Michael has continued to make progress on polishing and waxing the boat. It’s a lot of work but really looks nice.
That’s all for now. More soon…ish. Love to all, Gina and Mike
